# Work instructions

## Work instructions that show the real task, step by step

Record the task on the real system and Clueso produces written work instructions with screenshots and a matching video. When a step changes, you swap a clip.

## No ambiguity about what to click

- **Captured, not remembered** — Each step comes from the recording, in the order it actually happened.

- **The real system on screen** — Auto-zoom and callouts land on the exact field, so there is nothing to interpret.

- **Video and written together** — The same capture serves the person who reads and the person who watches.

- **Every site, every language** — 150+ languages, with a glossary for your internal terminology.

- The task, step by step.

- One job inside the ERP or CRM.

- Where getting it wrong matters.

- What the next shift needs.

- One capture, every location.

- The one-page version.

Record the task. Clueso writes the instructions.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the difference between a work instruction and an SOP?

An SOP describes the process end to end; a work instruction covers one task inside it, at the level of what to click. Clueso generates either from a recording.

### Does this work for non-software tasks?

Clueso is screen-recording first, so it is strongest where the task happens on a screen. A physical process can be documented from a screen recording of the system side plus uploaded media.

### Can we hold a consistent format across sites?

Yes. A Clueprint fixes the structure, branding, intro, and outro, so every site's instructions look the same.

### Can we produce visual instructions for staff who will not read a manual?

Each step is a screenshot taken from the recording with one short line of text, so the instruction is mostly picture. The matching video covers the first time through; the written version is what gets checked during the shift.
