# Auto Sync

_Narration_

## The voiceover lands on the right frame.

Write or edit the script and Clueso works out which moment of the recording each line belongs to, then times the narration to it. No dragging audio along a timeline.

## Let the narration find its own timing

## Frequently asked questions

### How do you sync audio and video?

In a normal editor, by dragging the audio track until it lines up. Clueso does it by content instead — it reads frames from the clip and matches each line of script to the moment it describes.

### How do you fix audio and video that are out of sync?

If the narration drifts because the script changed, re-run the sync and the timings re-derive. You do not re-time the lines after the one you edited.

### What if my clip is longer than five minutes?

Split it. Sync works per clip up to five minutes, and the editor tells you which clip is over rather than failing silently.

### Can I adjust the timing by hand afterwards?

Yes. Sync points are editable — the automatic pass is a starting point, not a lock.

### Does it work if I keep my own recorded audio?

Yes. A clip set to keep its source audio is skipped rather than overridden.
